Sri Matha recognises parents as important partners in every child’s education. The cooperation of parents helps the school maintain academic progress, discipline and student wellbeing.
✔ Ensure the child attends school regularly and punctually.
✔ Check the school diary every day and ensure homework is completed.
✔ Sign test notes, dictation books and other communication when required.
✔ Review teacher remarks and respond appropriately.
✔ Attend Parent–Teacher Meetings; the supplied document states that PTMs are arranged once every term.
✔ Meet teachers when requested by the Principal or Class Teacher.
✔ Inform the school promptly about changes in address or telephone number.
✔ Communicate requests or complaints through the school office.
✔ Parents / guardians should not meet children or teachers during school hours without permission from the Principal.
